Wednesday I raced the Atlanta Track Club Grand Prix Cross Country 5k.
Even though I faded hard on the third mile, my strategy for that mile was just to “hold on.” I hit my strategy on the first two miles, so technically I hit my strategy for the whole race.

I ran the Winship 5k on Saturday. It was a fun crowd, and I look forward to running it again next year.
This past week I made the Sesame Chicken recipe from J. Kenji Lopez-Alt’s The Wok cookbook.
I felt it was too heavy on the dark soy sauce. Of course it was still good, but I would adjust that next time. 4 stars ★★★★☆
