    Monday I made the Sichuan Dry-Fried Beef from J. Kenji Lopez-Alt’s The Wok cookbook.

    The end result was delicious. My son loved it, Megan liked it, but didn’t care for the texture of the matchstick-cut beef. 4 stars ★★★★☆

    Downing Park's new construction replaced the razed Jackson Hill Baptist Church, while the historic, circa-1914 Tudor Revival mansion on site has been converted into five large condominium units on a property once collectively known as Pinebloom.

    Our previous church used to meet in the basement of Pinebloom.
