Ate at Pepper Roost. The heat here is honest. They were out of the Flaming Rooster, so I got the Very Hot, and it was very hot! I’ll go Hot or Medium next time. Additionally, the chicken was fresh out of the fryer and very crunchy.

I’ve been keeping a list of restaurants to try for a while now in Notes app. A friend expressed interest in the list, so I figured I’d keep up with it publicly.
I biked to Avondale Ale Day and drank a couple of “fall-type beverages” for my sixth coffeeneuring outing.
The project includes a road diet that will reduce the travel lanes from five to three between Sam’s Crossing and Ashton Place.
“It has a 10-foot path that runs along the entire stretch…and then a landscape strip that runs along the edge of the sidewalk”
I’m looking forward to this project getting done. I like a lot of what Avondale is doing with their city these days!
